Rate: £499-£500/day Location: West London
My client, a well renowned media organisation is urgently seeking a Business Change Programme Manager with media/broadcast experience. The role holder will be managing a major business change programme. Must have: Demonstrable experience of achieving cost savings from a programme Experience of taking a leading role (management, direction) as part of a business change programme Proven ability to work with and advise stakeholders at all levels in a political/changing environment and utilise tools and techniques to drive decision-making and the right business outcome Ability to oversee and foresee risks across a portfolio of projects Significant communication (verbal, written, listening) skills Expert interpersonal skills Professional training in portfolio/programme management and ability to shape a portfolio approach. Role Responsibilities: Developing, maintaining and owning a complex portfolio plan. Overseeing the production of workstream deliverables on a timely basis, and ensuring that these align to expected outcomes Monitoring and controlling performance (costs, benefits, progress, issues, risks) across the workstreams Directing activity and ensuring that plans flex according to changing scope/steering group decisions/business requirements Directing major dependencies (within workstreams, and across other workstreams or change programmes) Chairing the programme management meeting and co-ordinate and manage the reporting to the Steering Group. You will need to hit the ground running in supporting the following areas: Business analysis Data gathering and interviews Task management Progress reporting, project/work stream specific deliverables Supporting the communications, events and other ad hoc requirements.
