Our client is a top tier investment bank. The role is for a Front Office Java developer working on the design and development of new green field Front Office desktop trading application in the Prime Services division. In this role your key responsibilities will be: Successfully implement and deploy new Prime Services Front Office application. Provide strong Java development skills to the development team. Provide Hibernate, Spring, Adobe Flex skills to the development team. Migrate existing suite of well defined Excel based applications to strategic platform. As a suitable candidate you will have the following experience: Strong Java development experience with Front Office desktop applications Technical skills: use of Hibernate, Spring, Adobe Flex (nice to have), Linux Technical skills: MS Excel l experience in migrating application from existing spreadsheet Business knowledge: knowledge of Equities and Equity Derivatives highly beneficial Business knowledge: understanding of corporate actions advantageous Business knowledge: understanding of stock loan processes advantageous Experience of working closely with Front Office users Alexander Mann Solutions, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.
