Hays Defence are recruiting for a SAN/Storage Engineer to work on a NATO project which will be split between the UK and Afghanistan. The client requires someone with several years experience working with NetApp storage systems. You will be required to work in a Security Cleared capacity so should hold or be eligable for NATO clearance. – There will be a significant uplift in day rate for any work performed outside the UK. – Contractors must be ready to deploy at short notice. – Further details on request. – Must have or be eligable for SC clearance – Will have attended Authorized NetApp training courses and be certified as an NCIE (NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer). – Shall have access to the NetApp NOW support portal and direct line telephone access to multiple levels of NetApp vendor support. – Be expert in the installation, configuring and management of NetApp DataOntap, Snapshots, SnapVault, SnapMirrors, Aggregates, Flex Volumes & LUNs and NetApp data protection and disaster recovery techniques. – Be expert in the installation, configuring and management of NetApp SnapDrive, SnapManager for Exchange, SQL and VMWare Virtual Infrastructure.
