Senior Software Engineer/J2EE developer

Major Investment Bank requires an experienced Front Office Java, Spring, Flex developer who also has solid Excel spreadhseet experienced to join their Structured Finance and Prime Swaps trading group.This role will focus on developing a Front Office desktop trading application, migrated from exisiting Excel spreadsheets. It would be highly advantageous to have solid business knowledge in as many of Equities, Equity swaps and other Equity Derivatives, Stock Loan process and Corporate Actions.Your duties will include:Provide strong Java, Spring, Adobe Flex applications to strategic platform, work closely with other team members to create an effective team culture with strong delivery ethic, help develop specifications with the business analysts on a wide range of projects and initiatives, spanning PrimeSwap as well as other PrimeServices initiatives and lead the development process from requirements gathering, through implementation, to release.You MUST have very strong Java development including previous commercial use of Hibernate and Spring,familiarity with Adobe Flex, MS Excel, Linux and MS SQL Server would also be beneficial and solid knowledge of excel trading spreadsheets would be highly useful. You MUST also be able to show a solid track record in similar front office development roles at Major Investment banks.Candidates with any experience of working on Delta 1 products will be fast tracked.
