My large, Well established Client is looking to recruit a number of Interaction Designers (UX/IA) to improve the usability and experience of the website, leveraging research available to understand our users’ needs and then designing to meet and exceed them. You will have overall responsibility for all areas of user interaction throughout the website, to ensure users receive the best possible experience while using the website. To ensure that the website is compelling, simple to use and accessible, while meeting business, brand and user requirements. Expertly skilled with relevant tools including Creative Studio, Flex, Visio, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, etc. Knowledge of web technologies and the viability or otherwise of design solutions. Extensive information architecture (IA) and usability experience (UX) for blue-chip clients. Must have a portfolio showing excellent wireframes and other UX deliverables. Five years plus senior experience in a user experience consultancy, digital agency or similar. As an experienced software engineer you will design, code and unit test each element developed. With recent experience of integrating Flex/Flash into J2EE architecture. With Flex being part of your primary skill set it would be advantageous to have experience of Javascript, CSS, HTML and DoJo. Working within a large development team, you will need to be able to take responsibility for specific solutions you have identified. Working in a secure environment this position requires SC clearance and in addition ITAR clearance. Full SC Security Clearance is required for this opportunity, all candidates must be prepared to undergo the full SC Security Clearance Process.
