A tier one global investment bank urgently require a Senior Analyst Developer with knowledge within the FX Ecommerce space to work within its organisation. A new strategic projects IT group has formed in London to design and implement new components specifically targeted at achieving a greater share of the FX market. A number of key projects have already been identified. These will include the development of a new customer-facing Rich Internet Application, providing indicative and tradeable FX pricing, FX trade execution and a range of post-trade functionality. The FX External GUI team is being formed within the strategic projects IT group to design and implement a brand-new, Adobe Flex and Java-based Internet application to replace HSBC’s existing Reuters Electronic Trading white-labelled solution. The successful candidate undertaking this role will join the FX External GUI team as a senior developer and will work with other team-members to design, develop, test and release the various Adobe Flex (client side) and Java (Server Side) components from which the FX External GUI application will be constructed. The Senior Analyst Developer will be expected to have the following as applications will not be considered without this: Experience developing client-side, customer-facing, Rich Internet Applications would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of Adobe Flex and Action Script 3 would be highly beneficial. Experience deploying and managing load-balanced web applications in a complex network environment (including Firewalls) would be highly beneficial. Java experience is essential.
